I just moved here in January and I'm sure this has been asked a lot already, but what are some good gay clubs/bars in the area besides Secrets in Larnaka?
Not interested in cruising areas!


Also, even though I'm not really religious, just out of curiosity are there any liberal multicultural or english speaking churches in Limassol?

English speaking churches? i'll get back to you on that next week. there has to be. i'll ask my workmates and my boss.

as for clubs, i don't know. there is xlive in Limassol but i have never been so i can't say if it is any good.

what kind of music you like? does it have to be a gay bar?
TP in the tourist area plays rock, alternative, some goth stuff. i have been there and they play the clash, the cult, marilyn manson, the stranglers, sisters of mervy but they do not know who nine inch nails are!!!! sadly they also play bon jovi, bryan adams (the worst thing about Canada next to Celine Dion) and guns n' roses. can't have everything i guess.

gay friendly in Cyprus? good joke. all men here (i'm sure) have had gay sex. they just don't want to see it or talk about it and they don't want gays in their face.

i've never had a problem at TP, Rumours is ok. both in the tourist area. basement is crap and not very gay friendly!!!!!!

Cento Momenti and cafe 127 are acceptable and acceptin (i think). you never know, they change thier attitudes like they change underwear. oh yeah, and cafe P in the old town. it's very nice there.
